Am 14.12.1999 veröffentlichte Britney Spears die Pop-Ballade "From the bottom of my broken heart" als fünfte und letzte Single aus ihrem ersten Album "...Baby one more time". In den USA landete der Song auf Platz 14 und in den amerikanischen Jahres-Charts von 2000 lag das Lied auf Platz 77, sonst war es leider kein großer Erfolg, weil es auch nur in den USA und Australien als Single veröffentlicht worden war.
